ANU School of Art Graduating Exhibition 2015

GRAND OPENING: 6PM Friday 27 November (Awards announced 6.30PM)

EXHIBITION OPENING TIMES Mon-Sun 10.30AM - 5PM

The ANU School of Art Graduating Exhibition 2015 showcases the achievements of graduating students across the entire school and its galleries.

The exhibited works are also catalogued in an accompanying publication.

The exhibition showcases the work of students completing awards in our undergraduate programs, Bachelor of Visual Arts, Bachelor of Digital Arts and Bachelor of Design Arts degrees, and the Bachelor degrees with Honours.

The culmination of years of study in art practice, as well as art history and art theory, the work represents the successful resolution of thought processes, skills and making, working in and across disciplines.

The studio remains the focus of our teaching and learning, practice and research. From these disciplines - Ceramics, Furniture, Glass, Gold and Silversmithing, Painting, Photography and Media Arts, Printmedia and Drawing, Sculpture and Textiles, students graduate with a major in one studio discipline.

The Art History and Art Theory programs contribute to the student’s growing understanding of the historical and contemporary issues within studio practice. That knowledge encourages sustainability of future practice and also recognition of their contribution to the discipline.
